WWOOFer Miriam (@mir.iam.r on Instagram) discovered a new appreciation – and a knack! – for flower farming during her time at a host farm in California.
Her mornings began in the field cutting fresh flowers, while afternoons were spent in the shed arranging bouquets, mixing soil, and preparing seedlings in their tiny cells. Along the way, Miriam came away with something even more meaningful: an understanding that farming, at its best, is a community endeavor rooted in human connection, shared learning, and education.
