WWOOF is committed to assisting the next generation of farmers to get a head start through educational farming experiences and to increasing the diversity of farm operators in the USA. The Future Farmer Program provides WWOOFers with mentorship, practical farm skills, financial support and an agroecology certification. Meet WWOOF’s 2025 Future Farmers!
The opportunity board helps aspiring farmers find paid positions in organic agriculture. WWOOFing is a non-monetary exchange, and these paid positions are not considered WWOOFing, or part of the WWOOF program. WWOOF is also a great option for students to earn internship credit for their school or program. Internships can be completed intensively or over the course of a semester or year. We welcome anyone interested in organic farming to participate in the WWOOF program. WWOOF-USA reviews and awards applications on a monthly basis and offers a limited number of scholarships. Scholarships awarded cover the cost of a WWOOFing membership subscription for one year. Learn more or apply for a scholarship.
